Oil – ½ cup

Ginger garlic paste – 2tblspn

Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 tbl spn

Coriander pwd – 1 tbl spn

Milk – 1lt

Sliced onions – 1 cup

Shahi jeera – 2 tsp

Chakri phool – 2 nos

Dalchini – 1 no

Elichi – 3 nos

Dry red chilly – 2 nos

Salt 1 ½ tsp

For the Koftas

Mashed potato – ½ cup

Chopped almonds – 1/4th cup

Green chilly chopped – 2 tsp

Ginger chopped – 2 tsp

Green coriander chopped – 1 tbl spn

Salt – 1 tsp

Cornflour – 1 tbl spn


PREPARATION:

PREPARATION:

  • Put milk for boiling. Add to it sliced onions, dry red chilly, chakri phool, shahi jeera, dalchini and elichi. Cook till the milk reduces to half. Cool and make a puree of it.
  • Now in a separate handi heat oil and add ginger garlic paste, sauté for 3 mins. Now add Kashmiri chilli powder and coriander pwd along with half cup water. Cook till oil surfaces. Now add the puree and cook for 12-15 mins.
  • Add salt and keep simmering. Add water if required.
  • For the koftas mix all the ingredients and mash it up finely. Make round balls and deep fry on slow heat till golden brown
  • In a bowl, pour in the curry and drop the koftas. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
